When you want to use a frequency controller, you often have to deal with additional costs and space for the necessary control cabinets. The integration of a motor with a frequency controller in the FCM 106 offers you a cost-effective and space-saving alternative for ventilation, pump and industrial drives and is available in the power range of 0.55 to 7.5 kW.
The ability to control PM motors and achieve extremely high system efficiency makes it the ideal addition to the proven EC+ concept for high-efficiency fan systems.
Instead of the combination motor with frequency controller, you can also order just the frequency controller, the VLT® DriveMotor FCP 106, and place it on your own (existing) motor. The FCP 106 is suitable for a power of up to 7.5 kW and is easily mounted on a motor using an adapter plate.
Thanks to its own cooling system and an individually adjustable adapter plate, the controller can be adapted to various engines. This makes the FCP 106 extremely suitable for customized drive solutions.
The combination of a high efficiency PM motor with a frequency controller results in an efficiency equal to or better than the IE4 Super Premium Efficiency class.
