CPU performance
The FX5UJ CPU module is approximately twice as fast as FX3U.
When using intelligent function modules with a large
amount of data communication will reach the CPU at its full capacity
to demonstrate.
Number of I/O up to 256 points
A total of 256 points can be controlled, with 256
I/O points or 256 external I/O points.
Built-in high-speed counter
The FX5UJ high-speed counter can count pulses that are
a normal high-speed counter cannot be measured by using
making the general input connector of the CPU module.
By setting the correct parameters and the HIOEN or
UDCNTF instruction you can make optimal use of this feature
• Channel assignment from 1 to 8 channels
• Compatible with 1-phase 1-input, 1-phase 2-input, 2-phase 2-input high-speed counter
• Pulse density measurement mode
• Rotation speed measurement mode
Built-in Ethernet port
The Ethernet port can support up to 8 connections on the network
connect. CC-Link IE Field Network Basic is also supported.
Built-in USB (Mini-B) connector
There is another interface besides the Ethernet port
possibility to program. A USB (Mini-B) connector is standard on
the PLC, making it easier to connect to GX Works3.
Internal SD memory card slot
An SD memory card slot, which is indispensable for
Logging and backup/restore functions, also come as standard.
Safety
The MELSEC iQ-F series prevents data theft and
unauthorized use and unauthorized access by third parties with
security features (block password, file password, password on
distance, security key, IP filter function).
RUN / STOP / RESET switch
Equipped with RUN/STOP/RESET switch.
It is efficient because it can be restarted without turning off the power
switching during troubleshooting.
Battery-free and maintenance-free
The MELSEC iQ-F series integrates programs and devices
stored in memory that does not require a battery, such as flash ROM.
