The new MELFA RV-35/50/70F robot line has been officially introduced and is available from stock as both D (stand alone) and Q (iQ Platform) versions. This is an interesting addition to our portfolio, allowing Mitsubishi to now also fill in the heavier (end of line) applications.
Mitsubishi Electric has added a new member to its robot family and is moving up in its weight class. With an expansion of the existing portfolio of the MELFA robot to 70 kg.
The new models RV-35F, RV-50F and RV-70F have a reach of more than 2 meters from the workpiece with a weight of 35 kg, 50 kg, 70 kg. The robot controller is designed in the usual compact design, which as always is equipped with many possibilities and interfaces that easily integrate the robot into any application.
Even with the big loads, the robot achieves great performances in terms of repeatability, speed and flexibility. A real champion, which can be placed for the best effect at the end of a production line for palletizing, positioning or handling heavy parts.
The new robots are available in two versions; Standard robot with a compact stand-alone controller or as PLC robot, which is integrated into the modular control of the iQ Platform. This enables direct communication of CNC, servo and robot control on a PLC platform with all the possibilities of the modular extensions. This industry-wide unique solution fits perfectly into an integral solution from the eF@ctory network.
