Mitsubishi Electric Automation introduces the FX3S micro PLC. The FX3S micro PLC gives the user the ability to choose only the functionality required for a specific application, saving on hardware costs.
The FX3S offers full PLC control functionality, with built-in high-speed inputs and outputs, relay outputs and built-in communications ports. It also includes expansion capabilities for communications, analog and temperature control. As part of the FX3 series, the FX3S can utilise many of the existing programming capabilities available on other FX3 series PLCs, greatly reducing system set-up time.
The FX3S micro PLC is designed for basic control tasks, such as simple positioning, analog processing and temperature control. The FX3S excels in small, stand-alone applications that do not require complex control tasks. The compact PLC is particularly suitable for food and beverage, as well as material handling and fan and pump applications for irrigation and building automation.
Communication options are available for RS-232, RS-485, Modbus and Ethernet.
The FX3S is highly advanced and improved in all areas compared to the successful FX1S.
