In addition, the software offers an HMI version. The GT SoftGOT2000, which realizes all GOT2000 functions on a PC or panel computer.
Seamless access to many devices
The GOT2000 provides seamless connectivity to Mitsubishi Electric automation devices such as PLCs, inverters, servo drives and robots. Built-in Ethernet communication means users can remotely control the GOT2000 from a PC (VNC Server) or even from a tablet or laptop. With an MES interface option, the GOT2000 can collect data from PLCs and other automation devices and send it directly to higher-level databases, eliminating the need for gateway PCs or complex programming. Furthermore, the GOT2000 comes with the "FA transparent" function, which allows users to connect from a PC via the HMI to any supported connected automation products.

Benchmark performance
New high-speed processors deliver responsive HMI operation even under high-load activities such as data logging, script, alarm or data transfer. Monitoring speed and start-up time is twice as fast as Mitsubishi's previous flagship GOT1000 model.
Increase memory capacity
With four times the memory of previous models, the GOT2000 HMIs allow you to design flexible displays without worrying about data capacity. Product data compression technology plus the use of a standard SD card make this possible.
Multi-touch
GT2000 Series HMIs deliver tablet-like usability with the introduction of multi-touch, even when wearing gloves. With a simple swipe of the screen, users can easily magnify the screen for better visualization and easy operation of small switches. Object control allows you to magnify or scroll through specific objects, including historical data lists, alarm displays, trend charts and documents. The GOT2000 displays also allow you to implement two-point touch technology, for simultaneous use of two switches for key actions - such as 'interlock release' and 'start'. This eliminates the need for external hardware.
Beautiful graphics
GOT2000 HMIs offer 65536 colors, and support a wide range of image formats - including PNG - for bright displays with well-defined objects that are sharp even when enlarged or reduced. The HMI also supports a library of outline fonts in various sizes.
Advanced communication
All GOT2000 HMIs offer Ethernet, RS232 and RS22/485 communications. SD card capability and front and rear USB ports provide greater flexibility. Options include a wireless LAN interface for communication with PCs and tablets, allowing users to download/upload screen data and use the FA Transparent functions.
Easy screen design
The GOT2000 screens are fully compatible with GT Works3 screen design software, with features such as the ability to use templates and sample projects, greatly reducing the number of steps involved in creating a screen. GT Works3 also provides a full suite of common functions, objects and shapes.
Backwards compatibility
To provide an advanced solution for today's monitoring and visualization, the GOT2000 HMIs require significant improvements over the GOT1000 models they replace. While remaining compatible: screen size remains the same, allowing existing projects to be easily exported to the new HMI.
Horizontal integration
The superior integration capabilities of Mitsubishi Electric factory automation products are demonstrated by features such as parameter and program backup/restore for PLCs, inverters and servo drives; GOT transparent mode to connect via the HMI to Mitsubishi FA devices for programming, monitoring etc; pre-built displays for network diagnostics, etc.
