You can use these robust devices at temperatures from minus 30 °C to plus 60 °C, with a high humidity of 90%. They are suitable for almost any environment and industry. The 7 or 15 inch widescreen displays have a high resolution and an aspect ratio of 16:9. They offer up to 16 million colours and can be read in daylight. Complex process or plant images are also displayed clearly and in detail on these displays.
The anti-reflective screen has large reading angles and dims automatically. This ensures reliable and smudge-free operation and control. You can also read data directly in changing light and weather conditions. The new panels are practically maintenance-free.
Data security
For optimum use of space in your installation or special machine designs, you can mount and operate the panels upright. In the event of a power failure, the Comfort Outdoor Panels ensure Extremely flexible for every outdoor application maximum data security. They store enough energy to exit all active archives without errors and to make a backup copy of the data.
Certification
Extensive certifications for use in shipbuilding or hazardous areas according to Ex2/22, FM Class I Div.2 are in preparation. The Touch Panels are integrated into the automation solution via Profinet and configured with SIMATIC WinCC in the TIA Portal.
Control screens that were previously developed for other Comfort Panels can be used without much effort and supplemented with the necessary equipment for outdoor use. Siemens offers a maintenance and support period of 22 years for these new devices.
