Smart temperature controllers with quick installation

Omron is expanding its range of panel temperature controllers with the introduction of our new NX-TC series with Artificial Intelligence (AI). These intelligent controllers are designed for multi-circuit applications and are easier to mount in a panel.


The NX-TC series is a new generation of smart temperature controllers designed for optimal and automatic temperature control without human intervention. In fact, all adjustments that are usually made by experts in the field can now be automated by artificial intelligence.

Adaptive control algorithm

Using standard temperature controllers, it takes time to define the initial PID settings for start-up, and even for experienced engineers it is a challenge to adjust the settings optimally. That is why Omron developed the NX-TC series with 'adaptive control technology'. Changes in the process are automatically detected and the PID is adjusted accordingly. The result? A perfect, precisely adjusted PID algorithm and ultra-stable temperature control.

Perfect temperature control for packaging machines with sealing function

On a conventional packaging machine with sealing function, the temperature sensors are often too far from the sealing surface of the heat bar. This can cause a temperature difference between the sealing surface and the set temperature, resulting in more sealing errors as the packaging speed increases, especially with thinner packaging material.

The NX-TC series solves this problem by using special temperature sensor models with faster detection, allowing the sensor to be placed closer to the sealing surface. And specially developed, integrated algorithms such as automatic filter adjustment help to suppress temperature differences, resulting in better seal quality.

Minimizing temperature differences in injection molding machines

In water-cooled injection molding machines, increasing the throughput often leads to temperature variations. As a result, operators must frequently readjust valves to stabilize product quality. It is very difficult to maintain a high production rate. The NX-TC is equipped with a cooling water control function that can minimize temperature variations, thus increasing production capacity while maintaining quality.
