Mitsubishi Electric is expanding its MELFA F-series industrial robots with high capacity robots. Very recently the new F-series free arm (RV) robot was introduced from 2- to 7kg, this has been expanded with a 7kg “extra long-arm” a 13kg robot, a 13kg “long arm” and a powerful 20kg robot.
The wide range of the F-series in both SCARA and free arm robots allows you to make the optimal choice for every application. Every robot works with the same easy-to-use software, controller and teachbox so that you can work intuitively. For engineering you can also use one of the Mitsubishi Partners, of which Expro IT West is one!
The Mitsubishi Electric robots are unique due to their integration on the iQ control platform. This configuration, which costs nothing extra compared to a “stand-alone” version, provides a direct connection to the PLC (System-Q) control via the backplane. This makes the integration with the surrounding periphery very simple and fast. The entire production cycle can be shortened as a result.
In addition, 2 robots can work together on 1 component on this platform and any sensor/actuator network and ERP connection can be established via the standard PLC expansion modules.
