Stainless steel devices for the food industry
SIMATIC HMI offers special panels for the food industry. Panels with touchscreens and stainless steel fronts are designed for food processing machines in the food and luxury food industry. They are based on DIN EN 1672-2 "Food processing machines - Safety and hygiene requirements". The external dimensions and installation are the same as for standard products.
The new stainless steel panels replace the TP177, MP277 10“ Touch MP377 stainless steel panels.
Advantages:

· Minimal grooves and corners and resistant to cleaning agents and disinfectants
· Repellent material according to FDA standard 21 CFR 177.2006 and display splinter protection to prevent contamination in the process

The HMI functionality is identical to that of the standard HMI Comfort Panels and is 100% compatible in terms of both hardware and software.
